Dennis Appiah ( /ˈæpɪɑː/ api-ah) (born 9 June 1992 in Toulouse) is a French football player of Ghanaian descent who currently plays for Monégasque club Monaco in Ligue 2. He is a France youth international having earned caps at under-16, under-17, and under-18 level. Appiah plays as a defensive midfielder and is also capable of playing in defence as a central defender. On 19 May 2010, he signed his first professional contract agreeing to a three-year deal.[1][2] Appiah made his professional debut on 1 August 2011 in a league match against Boulogne. He played the entire match, which ended 0–0.[3]
